System Requirements
Before installing CallData, it's important to understand how CallData works.
There are two parts to CallData.
The first part is the CallData [PICTURE hmtoggle_plus0.gif]Service. The Service runs on a computer on your network and connects to your phone system using a specific IP address & port.
The second part is the client application that runs on the end user’s computer.

Step 1: Install CallData on your computer. This involves installing a service on your CallData server and creating the SQL database on your SQL Server. During the setup process you also setup CallData to integrate with your phone system. The Installation Instructions cover this process in detail.
Step 2: Install the Client Application. The Client Application is the interface that enables you to run reports, change settings, etc. The Client Application may run on the same computer as the CallData service and the SQL Server. Additional information about the various deployment options is available in the Installation and Deployment section.
