2. Check Phone System Compatibility and Settings
Check your phone system to ensure that it is compatible with CallData. You can search for your phone system in the Supported Phone Systems section. You may need to make some minor changes to your phone system configuration to make it compatible with CallData.
3. Download & Install Microsoft SQL Server 2008
If you don't already have a SQL Server running on your computer or network, you'll need to set one up. The following steps outline how to download, install & configure the free version of Microsoft's SQL Server 2008.
After checking your phone system for compatibility and configuring your SQL Server, you're ready to install CallData. For detailed instructions on how to install CallData, refer to the Installation Instructions section.
5. Import Call Records From Your Phone System
If your phone system supports exporting call records into an external file, you can import the records into CallData. For more information on importing call records from your phone system into CallData, see the Supported Phone Systems and Calls > Import Calls From an External File sections.
6. Configure the Recommended Alerts
After installing CallData you should configure several alerts that will help to prevent data loss and send alerts in the event of an emergency.

7. Post Installation Configuration
If you are the administrator and have not yet logged into CallData, your account will be the extension you provided during the installation. The default password for this account is "admin". For all other accounts, the default password is "user".
Note: It is STRONGLY recommended that every user changes their password from the default. Your CallData password is separate from any credentials in your phone system or your computer.
