Create a New User
CallData automatically adds extensions and finds the name of the person associated with each extension it finds.

The New User screen.
The New User screen will ask you to enter the following information:
| • | Extension: Enter the user's extension. |
| • | Username: Enter the user's full name as it appears in your company's phone directory. |
| • | Password: Enter a password for the user. |
| • | Department: Select a department for the user. |
| • | Location: Select the location for the user. |
| • | Active: Check whether or not the user is currently active. |
| • | User Level: Specify the permissions that the user will be granted. |
After entering all of the information, click Save to add the user.

This will only add the user to the CallData list of users. It doesn't add or modify anything on your phone system, computer or network. |

Every user is assigned permissions within CallData. Depending on the User Level assigned to the user, the user will be granted permission to access different functions within CallData. The table below outlines the permissions that each User Level is granted.

Each User Level's permissions increase from Personal to Department to Location, etc... So a user with Department Level access also has the permissions granted through the Personal Level. |
