Configure an Existing Alert

You can setup various alerts within CallData to notify you (or someone else) if a specific event happens.

 

1. To modify an existing alert, click on Tools -> Alerts.

2. This will display the Alerts screen.

 

3. Select an Alert, right click on it and select Properties from the menu.

4. This will open the Alert Properties screen.

 

The Alert Properties screen is where you can modify the settings for an existing alert.

5. In this example, we have an alert that will notify the administrator whenever someone calls 911 Emergency Services. Whenever anyone dials 911, CallData will send an email to Administrator@MyEmail.com containing the Alert Text. In this example the email would say "911 was dialed".

Note:

To have an Alert notify multiple people, just enter each email address and separate each one with a semicolon and a space (e.g. Administrator@MyEmail.com; SecondRecipient@MyEmail.com).

 

6. Click Save to keep your changes or Cancel to not apply the changes and close the Alert Properties screen.
