Client Application Deployment

After installing the CallData Service and setting up your SQL database, you will need to deploy the Client Application if you want to run CallData on other computers.

Note:

The Client Application is automatically installed on the computer running the CallData service.

 

The same installer (setup.exe) that is used to install the service on the server, is also used to install the Client Application on other computers within the network. Selecting the "Client Installation Only" option will install the Client Application only. No further configuration is necessary as the Client Application automatically finds the CallData server & downloads the configuration settings.

Note:

Setup.exe can be found in the hmtoggle_plus1CallData program directory  (C:\Program Files\IS Systems\CallData) for future deployments.

 

There are several supported options for deployment of the Client Application:

•Localized
•Workgroup Environment
•Terminal Services
•Thin Client Computing

 

Before choosing a deployment method, you should be familiar with the CallData Concepts, System Requirements, and Installation and Deployment Overview.
