Configuration Instructions
Follow these step-by-step instructions to properly configure your Allworx 24x:
| 1. | Open the Allworx Administrator web interface (<Allworx system IP>:8080 in your browser). |
You will need to login to your Allworx Administration Web Interface to verify/configure the necessary settings. |
| 2. | Go to Reports > Call Details > Call Details Settings. |
Click on "Call Details" underneath the "Reports" section to edit the CDR settings of your Allworx. |
| 3. | Verify that your Allworx is configured to store live & completed calls, stream live & completed calls and that the Call Detail Streaming Port is set to "16366". |
Configure your Allworx Call Detail Settings to match the highlighted settings in the image above. |
If necessary, click on the modify link on the top of the page to edit your configuration. Set the Call Detail Storage and Call Detail Streaming to "Live and Completed Calls". Also make sure that the Call Detail Streaming Port is set to "16366". When you are finished, click the Update button to save your changes.
If necessary, modify your Allworx's Call Detail Settings to match the settings in this screenshot. |
| 4. | Import Historical Data into CallData. Your Allworx system, if configured correctly, will store historical call detail information internally. To import your historical data, under the Call Details screen, set the desired date range and click the Export XML Report button. Save the XML file to a convenient location on your computer. Once you have CallData installed, launch CallData, login with your extension and password, go to Tools > Database Maintenance > Import Calls from External File. Follow the on-screen instructions to import the data into the CallData database. See the Import Calls from External File section for detailed instructions. |
Set the date range you want to include data from & click the "Export XML Report" button. Save the XML file to your computer, you will need this to import the historical activity into CallData. |
Note: The Allworx 24x saves 10,000 records. One call typically generates several records. Therefore the number of calls saved in the Allworx history varies & you will likely only be able to import a limited amount of historical data.
Some reports may display missing or no data at all, depending on the phone system CallData is collecting data from. This is a result of non-standardized data formats being used across the wide spectrum of supported phone systems.
However, with the Allworx 24x, there are no report compatibility issues. All reports will function properly.
